    Fifth wheel towing

Not sure about that. But... I would look into an enclosed trailer, or car hauler, if you will, with the interior set up as a camper... Lower profile, so as to avoid a little of the "wind" issue... only 9-10 feet tall, also a less expensive goose neck instead of fifth wheel... A side note, I had...

    Fifth wheel towing

It isnt the weight that is the issue, in my opinion... The wind, was the great azz kicker.... these things make plenty of power, and the springs are strong enough. I had fat tires on 20 x 10 rims, and 4.10 gears. The 13 foot 6 inch sail swinging behind a SRW truck is the unfixable issue... Like...

    Fifth wheel towing

At 12 K, it is def manageable. At 35 foot, it will likely catch wind in stormy conditions, and be a major PITA to drive.... Ask me how I found that out... 40 foot, at 16 k on my 250 was just fine in perfect conditions..... In nasty rain and wind on the east coast of FL, not so much...

    5R110 trans options

http://powerstrokearmy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45421 The trans should work just fine. TC is different is all.... we took a built 5r out of my 2010 450, and replaced it with a stock 5r from a 6.0... Just switch TCs. TC has a different bolt pattern on a 6.0 to a 6.4...

08-Current drivers side tow mirror all power

What tow straps are you using

For what I am doing, mostly hauling custom and high end cars and truck, I just use the Tractor Supply Co brand 3 k ratchets. And, after being on a mountain climbing team for a few years in SF, I learned quite a bit about nylon and other materials that hold a lot of weight... They only have a...

    Piston discussion

Most of those, were not your average daily drivers buying aftermarket pistons. Most guys that own 6.4s do not even know what a "delete" is... Much less feel the need to upgrade pistons, tuners, intakes, etc... I interviewed a guy a few weeks ago, that raised his hand to god (no kidding) and...

    6.4 performance parts

So far as I know, the trans is the same, but the TC bolts differently. 6 bolts vs 8 bolts, I think. When I traded my trans from the 2010 450, there was a 5r110 out of a 6.0 that went in it... Just kept the factory TC with the 6.4...
