Dash and dome light only flicker when turn key. Once turn back to off everything fine. -

On my way to work today dash went out. When I turn truck off the dash lights wouldn't go out so I pulled the ground wires to save battery. At break I went to see if the dash came back and it did. Tried to start the truck and would crank but not start. My sct guagea wouldn't come up saying error... -
05 front end on 01 with ranch hand
Why would the frame be altered? The bumpers are the same mounting holes. If you upgrade the front end, your header panel will need to be upgraded or have the trim and cut the old one. I believe the lower grill tabs mounts are different as well. The 05-07 grills are longer as well. So if it ranch...- Decker

Welders need some info - Boron
Yeah, I'm trying to get them to switch to it. But they don't want the copper color finish to the weld. I feel this is a losing battle.- Decker

I figure silicon bronze would be best but not what the job calls for. Yeah I honestly don't think it's a material that can be welded nicely.- Decker

Anyone on here welded Boron? I have a job at work and for the life of me can't get this stuff to weld nice. I ask for info on welding it and was told to use what I have. Any tips on wire or gas? Everyone I ask said it can't be welded. Well it's made to be spot welded. I have a old timer friend...- Decker

I might not of been clear. I meant some people have luck with the upgraded solenoid others dont. Yes I did, almost as it slams into gear. -

Upgraded solenoid have been spotty at best. Some have great experience others it just makes things worse. OEM solenoid be the best way to go. I hated my upgraded solenoid and return back to OEM. -

This morning outside temp 75 degree truck eot/ect 92/93 and that's about 11 hrs of sitting over night. My Delta's normally are 2-4 daily city and 5-9 on highway doing like 80-85 so idk I don't think 15-16 unreasonable -

So overall this is a very easy job if someone wants to do this. I started off by disconnecting the fuel lines to the 6.0 fuel pump let them drain into a 5 gal bucket.
