So, you can just delete DPF and leave the EGR in place? I was under the impression it all had to go in one fell swoop.- RyanD

Advice needed/appreciated
Thanks Sterling, but it's just that pesky warranty keeping me from doing so. I've seen guys swap it all back for warranty work, but it seems risky. In my older age, I'm pretty tame on these vehicles, so I'd need a real mild tune. Thanks!! -

Thanks man. My _only_ hesitation with deleting is the remaining 47K miles on my warranty. I'm not sure if dealers here in San Antonio are mod-friendly, and I don't want to even ask. -

Passenger side are higher up, you'll need to remove the passenger side panel in the footwell, grab the big bundle there, and find the green wire in that section. Took me a few tries, but got it eventually. -
Taking off Plasti Dip?
I had a Jeep Commander before my 250, and I used it on all the chrome accents. I even pulled my spare tire, cleaned up the wheel and sprayed it to protect it under the vehicle. FX4 Rancho shocks
I got my certified FX4 with 48,000 miles, the first thing I did was change the shocks to Bilstein 5100s. Night and day. One of the front shocks is still in my garage, totally compressed. The boots are open, so I am not surprised these get super dirty and go south quickly. The Bils, IMO, are... -

Yeah, they really do. When I had them on my blue Jeep Commander, I was accused of being a Michigan fan..it probably didn't help I had the Old Man Emu lift with yellow shocks, so from the rear it was blue on yellow all day. Be ready to have lots of parking lot conversations when you get them... -

Zone lift kits
Any thoughts on Zone lift kits? I took my SD to a speed shop to have the hooks cut off, light installed and front windows tinted and the shop guy was showing me his 4" zone lift. Looked like a solid kit, and he said in many ways it is underpriced. I haven't seen much chatter about them here, so...- RyanD

Upfitter switch question on '13
State does require one (Texas), but have never been hassled over it. For now its in my dashboard in the window, but I'm going to mount it somewhere up front soon. -

ABS issue?
My Jeep used to do this when I swapped the fluid in the front diff and didn't add friction modifier. Felt like slight binding in the front wheels. It took me 2 full flush and fills to make it stop. Might be a good place to start? -
Upfitter switch question on '13
Yep, pulling that smaller panel by the door was the key. I spliced a wire to the pass through, hooked my light up and verified power through the firewall via the switch. Now I just have to order brackets and rent a plasma cutter for the tow hooks. Thanks!! Ryan -

Thanks, I'll keep looking. I pulled a big bundle of taped wires down right near the firewall, and even found the pass through wires (verified by going into the engine bay and looking for the same colored ones). Just did not see a solid yellow wire, or even any other Aux wire for that matter... -

I searched the forum, couldn't find anything...today I went out and pulled the nest of wires near the parking brake to locate Aux 1. My '13 had a nice list of what wires were what, but none indicated AUX. So I went and grabbed the wiring diagram from the fleet.ford.com site, and it indicated...
