Ok so went to lunch started truck started fine jay like normal got home ate pizza and drank some sweet tea. Went out to go back to work no start doesn't turn over nothing! Chip is still tight on PCM, good batteries. When I turn the key gp light comes on like normal all that jazz. But when I turn...

Ported heads? And DD high HP?

Thanks guys I contacted elite and got a price on porting. So what kinda parts would a guy need to hit 600hp in a DD and it still be a reliable rig? Would a forged rod block work with studs springs and push rods? Or would u need better rods and pistons too? Also what size injectors? 300/200's...

Vgt turbo'd 7.3

I'm with this guy that was annoying lol kinda cool but mainly annoying. I don't think my 38R is that loud. It dose make the exhaust a lot louder compared to a stock turbo but I don't notice a huge difference with the turbo it's self.

Do you know what shops? I have not called the shop i was planning get the rest done yet so see if they have done it i know they're the ones who rebuilt the engine in the truck now. but im doing a forged rod engine swap but the one ill be getting is in pieces and needs rebuilt.

ok is there any specs any where on how they port them? im going to call my machine shop and see if they have done 7.3 head orting and get a price on it.

Ok so two questions I've never really seen this anywhere I know they do it some on cummins I believe, but do guys port 7.3 powerstroke heads? If so does it add enough to make it worth it? Any specs on it? Second questions what's the most HP u can get outta a 7.3 and still have it streetable...

machine shop for 7.3

Ya that seems really high I know the one near me I was told to go to is 1800 for machine work plus a overhaul kit which from what I've seen should be about 1200 which is stock so then u add the price for studs, springs, push rods, and anything more then stock u want?
