    285/65/18 vs. 285/75/18

Weight is a huge factor in this though. Rotating mass. I have 285/65r18 toyo open country A/T on mine if you want a picture. But mine is a 04. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

    6.0 turbo rebuild kit

Haven't a couple of batmowheels came apart? :poke: just kidding though. I'm running one LOL In short, all I was trying to get at was that it is better to have it balanced (if possible). But I've seen/heard people swap WW on 7.3s and other batmowheels with good results. Have a good one...

    6.0 turbo rebuild kit

Please tell me where I was wrong? If anything I asked a question, correct? but hell, I just don't know what I am taking about. I think you lost me with all those big words. maybe I still thought we were taking about tires...? I don't know. Pretty sure I know a guy that had his p max balanced...

    6.0 turbo rebuild kit

We are not saying they are not component balanced, but is it not better to have it balanced as a whole? Its your motor, stick a screwdriver in your turbo for all I care.just don't go telling everybody that you can just go around swapping wheels and everything will be fine. not all compressor...

    6.0 turbo rebuild kit

All those tight tolerances and all associated with wheels and tires. If your tires are out of balance you get a bumpy ride... Your turbo out of balance, hits housing, dusts/fragmented compressor wheel, possibly oil in intake... Do I need to continue? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

    6.0 turbo rebuild kit

Well you didn't say you were going to have it balanced... But used 6.0 turbos have dropped a lot in price. edit: after the cost of having in balanced, downtime, other cost, etc. might be more cost effective to buy used. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Hope this works. Im no computer genius so this took a while. Had to "buy" some editing software so i could edit the gopro video, then i had absolutely no idea how to work it. So the videos will just be clips. I think this one took me 4 hours to make LOL Somehow the quality went to 240...

    Double din in 03?

It really wasn't "hard" to remove the dash. But at the time it was my first time doing so, each clip i pulled off it sounded like i broke something. Reaching the clips to remove the headlight switch were a little bit of a pain as well. Like it was said, with a dremel and the right install kit...

    Double din in 03?

I have in my 04 which is the same I believe. Couple of minutes with the dremel and it fit right in. when you have the dash and double din right in front of you, it is easy to see what needs to be trimmed. IMO hardest part was removing the dash. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2

Video heavy: 6.0 Non VGT spool thread

I will have my videos to contribute here in a few days of a 66/73/.91 with 205cc injectors. But i had to chime in and ask why this thread is specifically NON VGT? Do bigger VGT's have absolutely no lag/smoke at all? Mods can remove this post as well as other unnecessary post to keep this on...

    Single 66 on a 6.0

Alright. Took the go pro out this afternoon. Video is 20 min long. From startup to shutdown. I will have to edit out smaller clips obviously. Here is what i have. 1. Normal take off from 0-60 leaving a stop sign. 2. "Brisk" take off from 0-80 leaving a stop sign. 3. "Quick" take off, slowly...

Yes Sir! Xtreme X. Haven't even really seen how clean it is at WOT, only done a couple of quick runs. Guess that means i need to get out and DRIVE it some more. With the price of Diesel coming down i might be able to afford to. LOL

I would say a 64/.83ar with MPDs manifolds and up pipes would be a nasty street setup, and still be able to tow well. And no clouds getting up to speed here. Unless you floor it. Ill get some vids up soon.
