Injector rebuild questions?
That’s a bit of a loaded question. You don’t calibrate 6.0 injectors on a flow bench, you rather check for correct operation. I’d be a bit leary if buying spool valves and just putting them in old bodies. The clearances are SO small on them that we ALWAYS fit them as a pair. To give you an... -

You’re thinking rockers. There is absolutely no need for Harland Sharp (which have fitment issues) or WDI’s setup on a motor like the OP is building.- Zeb

Buying a 1000 hp 6.0
Check it out well. Like any modded vehicle, it’s probably been beat on. Quality of work on that sort of vehicle usually leaves a lot to be desired IMO. The Johnson lifters are excellent. Just pricey. Bang for the buck (IMO) it’s hard to beat a Motorcraft lifter.- Zeb

Motorcraft lifters, Motorcraft oil filter and cap, good oil, and keep the oil changed regularly. Lots of idle time is murder on cam/lifters. What year is it? 05+ have an hour meter on them.- Zeb

Speedometer & odometer problem
On my OBS the tach is erratic. Sometimes spot on, sometimes at 0, sometimes bouncing all over the place. Truck runs fine the whole time so I’m convinced it’s in the instrument panel. Would that be something these guys could fix?- Zeb

These have the rubber bushing also. If it doesn’t hurt to run the shock down till it contacts the bushing, guess what else I’ll be doing when I change the oil this afternoon. :)- Zeb

I went and did some measuring on the Excursion. It is stock ride height, Fox 2.0 shocks for a Super Duty, and Energy Suspension bumpstops. Shock length at ride height (eye to eye) is 17.375” Available shock travel is 2.25” Axle pad to bumpstop is 1.5” Axle pad to frame (bumpstop removed) is...- Zeb
