Stupid trans question
Next question, any recommendations on where/who to go for a new trans? I'm thinking a built/heavier duty trans to avoid these problems in the future. Might as well get one to handle future plans so I don't have to buy a 3rd one.- 03 tx pwr stroke

Stupid trans question
This sounds really dumb, but which trans do I have? 03 f250 6.0 ccsb FX4. Everything I can find says 99-03 7.3 is 4r and 04-07 6.0 is the 5r. What about the 03 6.0? Tried finding on my VIN and the body tag, but everything I find to decode those is even more confusing. I need to know which I have...- 03 tx pwr stroke

Lately, I've noticed that my trans doesn't seem to be shifting like it should. When I get on it, the rpm's jump before it shifts going from 2nd to 3rd, like it's going into nuetral before it shifts.
