    The biggest thing in Fords favor is that they don't have limited availability to the highest ratings. They will be the same no matter the configuration, less 450/550 cab and chassis. Ram has to be the 3500 dually with an AISIN trans to get the 900 rating. I believe GM offers the same like Ford.

    You will have to contact SCT directly to have them unlock it. It will likely be reverted to a street tuner with the pre-loaded tunes you had on it gone. At least this is what it used to be and it was like $150 to do it. Hope that helps.

    I would think that the ideal arrangement would be open in the main file, possibly temperature dependent, and maybe having them closed down when you start the truck and turn the exhaust brake on. Just thinking outloud.

    Don't expect any sound difference, the emissions components are giving you what you hear. As for mileage, I can't speak first hand, but I wouldn't expect much. The more fuel, the more particulate. Now driveability, I'm sure there's a lot on the plate.

    After a couple heat cycles it cleared up. It seems as if some of the oil draining out got in the outer groove of the filter and dribbles out. It has been clear since wiping it off later that evening. I always check for the old gasket, watched that happen before at a shop!

    I did the full gambit on my truck today and noticed a few things. First, the fuel filters, the top was a breeze with a rag under the connections for drips. Secondly, I remember reading to do at least three complete turns before draining via the valve. I let it drain for a few and let it keep...

    Quick question, will the SOTF remain a separate hard switch or will it ever be available on the nGuage/nDash screen? Hard parts tend to be as fail proof as possible, but just curious. Chris
