Door strikers = best $100 I've spent on this truck

I'll be in La Porte around lunch time and then heading back to League City in the afternoon. I can probably leave a striker in your bed or whatever so long as plant security won't shoot me...

I think they would. I'll give you one of my original strikers to test fit if you're anywhere near Houston.

Door strikers = best $100 I've spent on this truck

p/n 9L3Z-1522008-A $25/ea from Sunrise My truck is a '12 with ~35k miles. I've had rattling and creaking doors since new, like any other superduty. I've read comments about replacing the original door strikers with those from a newer F-150 that have additional rubber molding. Finally did it...

20% TO 40% OFF ON FORD OEM PARTS

Hey boss- these door strikers make a pretty incredible difference. The doors shut more solidly and rattles that I hear occasionally driving over uneven bumps are gone. Everyone needs these. Can you tell if the same strikers would fit a 2002 F150?

Baja Designs Squadron Pro driving lights

Are you not able to aim them downward? BD would probably have a few ideas. I want to buy something brighter but I'm leery of blinding traffic. KC HiLites has a direct replacement that's SAE approved so I'm tempted to think they use a proper fog light cut-off.

Steering wheel radio buttons v. Clock spring

The radio buttons to skip forward or backward often malfunction in my 2012. For instance, the advance forward button will actually restart the same song or jump to the previous song/station. Is there some way to determine if the button module is the problem versus the clock spring? It's...

Ford Navigation with sync - Unclipped Line Out

Cool discovery- thanks for sharing. Have you been able to access the head unit? My 2012 defaults to Line In if in the "Media" setting and I'd like to make the default source = Bluetooth. Searched but didn't find anything suggesting this has/n't been attempted.

    LED Fogs

I don't know why someone would go with Rigid at this point- those other lights fit so much cleaner. Rigid looks literally like a square peg in a giant round-ish hole. Baja Design's XL lights are probably way brighter than the rigids too?

    LED Fogs

There are LED options that fit directly into the original housing and look more OEM than the Rigid dually options. Vision X http://www.visionxusa.com/article/led-fog-light-upgrade-kit-for-ford-superduty/ KC HiLites(DOT approved)...

    6.7L In bed trailer harness

On my 12, there were two plugs that had blanks plugged in above the hitch and behind the rear the driver side wheel. I used the ford kit and it plugged right in. I actually cut off the 7 pin and used the pigtail to power a third reverse light mounted under the tailgate. Works great.
