possibly another head gasket!!?
The heads were NOT sent to the machine shop to check for straightness by the way.. NOTHING was ever sent to a machine shop to check.. I find all this out afterwards. I do know that felpro headgaskets were used this time with the O-ringed heads..I told him to use those. -

Oh.. And no i haven't done the bubble test.. Is it a sure way to tell if headgaskets are gone.? What about the chemical test that determines exhaust gas? -

Truck is an 06.. Studded ******d with brand new o-ringed heads.. Building pressure in the degas bottle.. Checked my brothers truck with the same gauge and it had about 5-7psi. Mine will go past 16 BUT didn't puke coolant..Maybe the cap is bad even though I just bought it from NAPA.. Opinions... -

Thanks buys for the help. I now believe they have screwed the steering gear box up from tightening the pitman are nut to tight.. What's the procedure? I'm sure its not with a pipe wrench and a 6 foot pole?- junglejoe

Wellthe ****uation just turned bad real quick! The freaking morons that put the balljoint in apparently put it in wrong. NOW the whole freaking front end has to be replaced because the hole where the ball joint fits into has been jacked up! They tell me today the ball joint nut will never stay...- junglejoe

Well I have some good news.. If at the very least nobody got fuggin killed! Took the truck the shop that did the suspension ..they put it up on the lift. This is the THIRD time the nut on the pitmen arm and draglink has come loose. Not sure what's going on there..but ill keep an eye out. So as...- junglejoe

heated mirrors
Where does the heated mirror wire go to on a 07? Truck has power sport(paddle) mirrors now..I'm adding the tow mirrors but the plugs has been cut off the mirrors.. Just need to know where the heated mirror wire goes to..does it go to the red wire on the truck aide?- junglejoe
