    Still have my 99 350 but saw this at the dealer Saturday afternoon and had to take it home. Nicest vehicle I have ever driven period and am ecstatic.

    Well I made some progress, Trans is ready to go back in, got delayed because when I pulled the trans I found the Up-pipes were basically off the manifolds.....I wondered why I heard a little exhaust leak..... Some RiffRaff bellowed up pipes are in now and now the trans is going in this weekend...

    Exactly, and the face that it hasnt up and quit just yet also makes it harder for me to make a decision. If the thing was dead in the water I would have already made my decision and decided to live with it right or wrong. Oh well!

    There were a bunch of improvements for the HD transmission from what I'm reading. Found a part number online from an older thread but when I called Ford they said it the part no longer existed it and was replaced by the part that they gave me a quote for yesterday.

    4x4 non-PTO truck Thanks for the help. I'll call my dealer back and see if maybe he wants to try to look again. My only other dealer within a decent drive doesn't stock much for parts and does zero truck repair, they send them all to the dealer in my town

    Definitely. Shot an email over to the guys at sunrise we will see what they say. Twisted says 3-4 week lead time and he recommended the stage 2. Not sure what to do

    Last week My truck started dropping out of drive when I was sitting at a stop light,but only when the trans was over 170/180. Give it a little of the skinny pedal and it will go back in gear and off you are. It shifts perfectly otherwise, except for some rare times when it misses the 1/2 shift...
