    I got 5 inch MBRP. At idle outside cab im over 80 decibles, WOT outside cab 93 decibles. After adding MBRP muffler delete, At idle Outside cab 90 decibles. IN THE CAB WOT my meter tells me its 113 decibles. That was with windows closed! Just going from MBRP exhaust with muffler, to the MBRP...

    Before you buy a Ford oil cooler have a look at the Bullet Proof Diesel external oil cooler. Ive had one in for close to 18 months. Average temp difference is 8 degrees cooler then the engine coolant.

    oil cooler

    Don't cheap out. Put in a Bullet proof (external oil cooler) and never ever worry about the oil cooler again. The hottest i've ever seen my oil get is 205 degree's and that was after being on it hard passing blue hairs for an extended time, then pulling a hill to top it all off.

    Mines doing something like that now too. I can step on it WOT and not a problem goes like hell then back off pull up to a stop light it doesnt wanna go , apply throttle it slips a little then goes. Turned my IQ on to monitor transmission slip it shows i only get slip when im pulling up to park...

    A friend is installing a sinister coolant filter. he is going to flush the ford coolant and wants to replace it with anything but ford coolant. What is the best coolant he can use? An auto parts dealer says any long life coolant will work. Is there any truth to this?

    Im thinking of putting in a fuel pressure gauge or gauges. I am wondering if i can monitor the difference between each side of the fuel rail with a gauge on each side.
