Stuck again...no start and no "wait to start" light
fuses are good, i checked them first. No codes except a tps i fixed long ago. hpop is good. What controls the WTS light?- high desert stroke

Stuck again...no start and no "wait to start" light
The 'wait to start" light does not come on and it just cranks and cranks and will not fire. Ran perfect all day towing wood out of the forest and just **** the bed. Any suggestions would be of great help. Thanks in advance.- high desert stroke

So I pulled the pedal assembly, and cleaned the IVS and TPS with electrical contact cleaner and it worked. All is working good again. Thanks guys!- high desert stroke

Pulled codes with little hand held and got nothing. Don't think it picks up SES codes. What's the IVS?- high desert stroke

Need Help.....AGAIN
so after i cooled off, i get in it today and i got dead pedal. Hit the throttle and nothing, it just continues to idle, stabbed it twice still nothing, finally third stab it takes off. Is this another tps issue?- high desert stroke

Bout at my wits end with this truck. Started cutting out again today, trans starts jumping gears. Felt like a classic CPS so I swapped out that, still does it. So I unplugged ICP and it still does it. It has new EBPV, CPS, ICP, swapped IDM's. I did the 50 cent mod last month and all that looked...- high desert stroke

Yeah, im learning that quickly. Only had this thing for over a year and Im learning where everything is real fast. Thank god for PSA and PSN or I'd be screwed...lol. Im back to loving my Ford:fordoval:- high desert stroke

Got it! unplugged ICP and drove it home. Ran smooth the whole way. Hopefully this is the last issue for awhile. Thanks again for all your help guys:thumbsup:- high desert stroke

Ok...getting closer!! Pulled my plug on ICP and its covered in oil. So is it just a matter of replacing ICP and cleaning plug? Or is there a underlying issue that causes this?- high desert stroke

havent checked grounds, except the one that was attached to VC when I was in there yesterday(where are the others?). I don't know about alternator, I checked it after i replaced batteries just to make sure it wasnt the culprit for the dead batteries. read 14.5 +/- at idle- high desert stroke

Batteries are brand new, alt charging at 14.5. No tps code...I would hate to replace again if its not bad. I dont really trust my scanner though. Going to have my buddy scan it on monday with his snap on scanner- high desert stroke

And the drama continues. Went to fire it up this morning and no start...dead batteries. They were on the way out for awhile. So...$325 later truck runs worse than ever. Half the day it ran ok, with a little miss here and there. Now it cant hold cruising rpms without falling off then...- high desert stroke
