E-fuel with stock fuel bowl
if you do the super duty 2" pleniumns on a obs, the fuel filter bowl will hit and it needs to be removed from the valley.- oldschool

Tightwad mod, fuel bowl delete and regulated return diy.
just did this mod a little differant. mine didn't have the bowl, just the brass plug. I completly gutted it, drilled and tapped for 1/8 npt like he did. only thing differant, was i didn't cut up the old regulator. I wanted to save the bolt holes so I could mount the regulator. Stock GTP38 Rebuild How-To?
be careful when taking off the turbine housine, if it doesn't come off straight, there is a possibility of bending the shaft. wouldn't hurt to have the assembly balanced before you reassemble. just a thought -

custom twin turbos with true dual exhaust
as far as proven, CAT's used twin turbos on their bigger engines for years. Dual jacket water air coolers. The left bank turbo feeds air to the right bank intake, same for the other side. Helps in the balance. Don't see why it'd cost that much in parts if you fab it up yourself.- oldschool

not trying to aruge, just understand, then why the switch to a waste gated turbo in the sd, if they are basicly the same cfm flow as the obs? something has got to be differant somewhere? In my way of thinking, there should be more air flow from the sd than the obs, if the compressor wheels...- oldschool

doesn't the sd turbo have more cfm flow than the stock obs turbo? or the van turbo?? The plentiums for the van and obs are smaller than the sd intakes.- oldschool

Fifth Wheel for my rig?
I've got 5th wheel camper and goose neck horse trailer. Convereted the 5th wheel to gooseneck. no wasted space in the bed when not in use. -

4 inch down pipe pics please
i'm in the process of gathering all the parts to put on a garett 38. exhaust outlet is bigger than the stock. I either need to put on the 4" or find just the flange and weld it to the 3" downpipe. So I'm also interested in fit. I haven't been able to find just the flange. Anyone have any...- oldschool

Oil leak in the turbo area? Need some help
didn't really pay that much attention, but from what i recall, it was tight. This is a turbo I bought off of ebay, and don't really know what year it was. Going to put it on my obs after I rebuild it. maybe the eariler models didn't have a seal, but would think there should be something there... -

good point about positive cc pressure. If the boot is hard enough to let out cc fumes, then it probaly should be replaced. -

on the bottom of the bore in the back, there is a groove that connects the turbo drain hole on the pedestal with the cylinder if that makes sense. if you plug one hole on the pedestal for the drain, put air to the other, air comes out of the cylinder in that section. can't reall see from the... -
