    yep, you're right. The sentence, coupled with the picture of the borescope showing the lifter out of the bore, led me to understand that a lifter had come out of the bore. Sorry for the confusion.

    The problem is time. I've only put 12k miles in 2 years. I don't think anyone is going to warranty a 2yr old shock. I'm not here to bash the product, I'm just giving my real-world experience.
