I have a 6.5" procomp lift and a ranch hand on the front so there's no clearance issues as far as that's concerned. However, at full lock i hit my leaf springs pretty bad.     To each his own though. It's entertaining discussing this stuff. Everyone has different opinions. Do what makes you happy I guess. Truck styles are much different out west than they are here below the mason dixon.

    Right there with you stroker. I thought brah's only lived out in california. 37's on 9" wide to be exact. With that being said.. I actually don't mind something along the lines of 37/13.50+ on 12" wheels.. but lord 35's are pushing it. 33's on 12" wheels gives the *rims* more lip than janet...

    I was harping more on EGT's in regards to the straight pipe. Regardless, a straight pipe exhaust is cheaper AND allows exhaust to flow better, even if it is negligible to power gains. Why wouldn't he do it?

    The previous posts pretty much have you set up. However, one thing they didn't address was: Turbo back straight pipe vs mufflers. Airflow is huge for diesels. The more you can do to increase airflow the better. If your state doesn't require a muffler, go with the straight pipe. Here in GA...

    He wants to mount it above the windshield. You outta contact a local welder or fabrication shop.. Might could work something up for you for a decent price.

    Also, look into an EGR delete if you haven't. Sometimes people see MPG increases after removing it because of the whole exhaust fume situation. It'll also save you some hassle down the road.
