Thats why I said higher in the HP range. For 500+hp, I can see the small things such as frx/hpx being beneficial. For a stock or lightly modded motor, I doubt it does a darn thing.- always-strokin

Yep, I sure did confuse them. Thanks for the correction. I'd say the hpx can be beneficial... never a downside for equalized oil. But I prob wouldn't waste my money on it until higher up in the HP range.- always-strokin

6.7 turbo on a OBS
Depends. I'm sure (although not positive) that the VGT mechanism on the 6.7 is electronically controlled by the ecu... so you'd have to find a way to vacuum control it in order to work on a 7.3 more than likely.- always-strokin

VGT's on non-vgt vehicles is a huge pain in the dick unless you enjoy wasting time to wire it up and control it. Dont get me wrong, VGT's are amazing... but the one you are considering installing wouldn't be worth the time/effort involved in it.- always-strokin

Are you serious? Thers a myriad of looney tuned (and other tuners) out there running 13.2's on tunes/intake/exhaust only.... I'm saying that theres been one or two freak 6.0's running 12's w/ tunes. Bottom-13's are more common. A tuned 6.4 is a 12second truck all day long.- always-strokin

i'd say, maybe 180s and above? More specifically, 238/100s. I know charles has said he mad 633whp w/ 39psi and he doesn't believe FP is a huge factor, but I'm just curious what a mechanical FP would dip to w/ hybrid 238s.- always-strokin

Like I said, 13.2's on a good Looney Tune are more common. Either way, a tune gets a 6.0 moving. A 180pumped 12v cummins might see 220-250whp w/ full pump mods/boost elbow. A 180pumped cummins w/ smokey ass 370 marines that will never be able to pull a load will see 300-350whp. Still, far from...- always-strokin

I've seen some run very close. A properly tuned 6.0 is running a 13.2 all day long, with the exceptions running high 12s. Okkkkkkk, and the 6.0 has 305-325horsepower STOCK. A tuner for $600 on the 6.0 will give it 450whp. More horsepower per dollar, until a certain point. Most 400+hp builds...- always-strokin
