That's correct, $90 each. Can't beat Costco out here in the NW. They also have an incredible return policy as well. I have not seen the ends you mention. I'm a proponent of a solid crimp and solder so I don't know I'd change the approach. -

I installed Spicer joints on both sides 12/27/14 and now with 10k miles it appears at least the Drivers side has up/down play by hand on the rotor. 4x4 transfer case actuator
Could be the hubs or either the large seal on the inside of the spindle. Be careful to ensure the hubs are unlocking otherwise you will be spinning 1 or both halfshafts while in 2wd. The hubs don't function as you would expect either. They operate like ball point pen does and need the vacuum... -

Coolant filter
Update on the coolant filter. I installed the sinister kit recently and just changed the first filter at a little over the prescribed 500 miles and cut it open to see what it would reveal. In my engines case, it was clean enough that with the hacksaw debris from cutting, I'd say it was...- TMCCOY

Coolant filter
For the oil cooler, I use a light coat of Vaseline on O rings and with just body weight leaned on it against the garage floor and it pressed together nicely. FWIW.- TMCCOY
