Engine builder buddy of mine has a pressurized priming tank (picture a pressure brake bleeder if you've seen one). Hooks into an oil valley by removing a plug. Different places on different engines. Don't know if that'd prime the pump or not.- Barnhartal

Help With EGT issues. Checked everything, i think
Might try another pyro/gauge like was suggested on the other forum. Another thing and I hate to bring it up is low compression can also cause high egts although mine which is low I know, throws extra smoke along with having higher egts than other guys with similar setups. Turbo to match 238/80 injectors
You can pick up a used h2e from a heavy truck wrecking yard for as low as 250$ not sure what the cost of a rebuild and mods would be though.- Barnhartal

What ya using for pickup? Try running a line from inlet of pump to a can of fuel. Will tell you if its pre pump or post.- Barnhartal

Know its not a direct cross over but on my offroad gasser rig I had a small chunk of rubber stuck in the supply line. pressure was fine at idle. Rev it up and demand more fuel and the rubber would than block off the line causing pressure to go to zero. Went through 3 aftermarket pumps before I...- Barnhartal

Have you verified your fuel pressure and hpop readings just out of curiosity? I would think running out of fuel could cause the symptoms your describing- Barnhartal

What do you think a crank case vent is for. As an engine runs pressurized oil returning to the pan and blow by builds pressure in the crank case. Applies to every internal combustion out there. Without a vent to release said pressure eventually seals would blow out. This is going in circles...- Barnhartal
