I have it measured out that I would have 2.5 inches for it to slip in before it bottoms and it would be slid on the shaft 2.75" .     Oh I forgot to say that on the fuel system I didn't end up using the 6.0 fuel pump, for now I have a pump off of a 6430 john Deere tractor as my dad replaced it and then later found out the system was frozen at the check valve.
