Just for clarification, Are you saying that A stock tranny with 180k miles and no maintenance history is a good candidate to just throw a valve body on and it will be fine at 350 to 400 horsepower? Trying to keep this newb thread on track.

Blowin Boots

It sounds like your plenums are out of round from over tightening the clamps. Add in the CCV oil and it will be next to impossible to keep the boots from blowing off. I ordered the inserts, boots, and clamps from RR. Cleaned everything up assembled and ran the CCV to atmosphere. I have had...

How much can you technically bumper pull

Towing Only

Tell your buddy not to go to cheap on a towing setup. Make sure he has gauges Trans temp and EGT at a minimum. The reflash is a cost effective way to go but I would still want gauges.
