New guy from Alaska with 1996 F250 7.3
Just removing not an issue? Thanks for the posts! I live in Delta Junction Alaska, love it up here. So, removing the chip from the ECM will not keep the truck from running or having any issues. I plan to get a TS 6 position chip I think but chips are new to me. Thanks for the help!- ALASKAPSD

Hello all, glad to finally be a part of the PSA! I have recently discovered my 1996 F250 7.3 has a Banks Ottomind Engine Control Module in it. After buying an Edge CTS Monitor and the monitor not being able to communicate with the truck (due to the Banks chip) I'm thinking of removing the chip...- ALASKAPSD
