Is Rotella really bad on a 7.3?
Twin pumps and t6 is not fun unless you like 2k mi oci. For me it sheared very badly. After 1500 mi the idle was not as smooth, power lagged slightly. Drained like thick water at 2500 mi. Been running delo at 4K oci. It will still shear but I know when the idle goes to **** it’s time. I knew... -

05+ trac bar bracket for OBS
I have been looking for a while and I’m having a hard time finding a trac bar bracket made for the OBS to 05+ suspension conversion. I know RYD makes them, but for the price I think there has to other options. $350 seems way too high. Suggestions?- KBMKVIII

2nd engine oil cooler
Twin HPOPs here as well but only one ipr. I will get oil temps of 235 unloaded highway cruising... New oil cooler as well. Ditching the DS 208 deg thermostat for a 180 to see if that helps. I have a few extra coolers laying around so if you find a way that works I would love to know! Thank you -
Light bulb part numbers
Is there a link available for all of the bulb numbers for the obs? Looking mainly for all parking light/turn signal numbers. All three of them on the front. Wouldn’t ask here but as always finding many discrepancies. Looking to make all yellow lights, led, white and turn signals switch backs...- KBMKVIII

I think a simple dyno test would prove/disprove these claims. One with the rails and one without, no other changes, even a tune. Monitoring ICP, IPR% and PW etc. With bigger injectors. Hell if it works, it works I guess.- KBMKVIII

As soon as I saw this I just said to myself, oh ****, here it comes lol. I’m sure there is a diminishing point of return based on how much oil your injectors move but no thanks.- KBMKVIII

Solid lifter for clearance checks
How have you modified a lifter for checking piston to valve clearance? Or can we buy a solid lifter for the 7.3? Purchasing colt stg 2 and before re-assembly I will need to check this measurement. Block will most likely be surfaced along with the head with possible valve seat work. Thank you -

From my experience with many different tuners the key is Data logging with revisions. No two trucks running the same set up are the identical.
