Exhaust Tip

Mine is almost a year old and still looks like this. I cut my exhaust back a little so its not as noticeable and doesn't stick out. But, I think I'm going to cut it to where it dumps over the axle.

Wouldn't be hard to do the radiator type cooler along the framerail if it does get hot.

I don't know how hot it gets up there or how much the fuel is heated, but I know mine will get pretty warm during the summer. I want to say 120* cruising is the most I've seen. Then I've seen 150* after running, then sitting for a few minutes. But it cools off pretty quick when started again...

Sweet, I think as long as you can put the inner fender back in, even if you have to trim it, nobody will ever know the difference. Hell, even if you left it out, nobody that sat low enough to see, wouldn't know what going on. Sweet build buddy, cant wait till its done.

Dustin, maybe I missed, but are you going to put a inner fender back in? Reason I ask is with the filter will be right there, seems like it will get filthy fast.

Didn't MPD do this to one of there trucks? Not taking anything from WOP, but I want to say MPD did it, just didn't make a kit.

I'm going to try to make this used gate work, if not, I will most likely pick up a WOP kit. Now I just have to find time, and find out if I'm going out of town for work soon.

Yea I found a pic of them. Back behind the turbo would still be a cleaner install though. Less exhaust piping.

Thanks. But do the custom up-pipes for 6.0 manifolds have the elbow for the wastegate like the stockers have? Nevermind, they do have that elbow.

WOP EGR Delete/Wastegate kit... Anybody use it???

Question for yall, are the football shaped flanges all the same size? I have a wastegate, but it is for the normal spot with welded downpipe. I might put it in this spot out of ease of installation.
