Battery light?

I was having the same problem about a month ago. All the forums seemed to agree that it was my alternator. I replaced it, and everything has worked great ever since. Good Luck!

I'm looking into a Pmax and some 155/75 sticks. I thought about 175's but I tow on a pretty regular basis 12-15K and I want all the power I can get but I can't sacrifice any towing and don't want to go with compounds. Anyone have similar set ups? I'd love to hear more about them.

What is the big deal with the 2003 turbos? Everyone seems to really like them, I'm constantly hearing people say that they picked one up for their 04-07's. Only thing I can figure is that it whistles more than the others. Thanks

Intermittent Problem

I have an extended warranty, but I have a $100 deductible. If I know it's going to cost over that I'll just take it in pay the $100 and let them mess with it.

Intermittent Problem

From time to time when idling the little battery light on my dash lights up, then when you give the truck rpm if goes off. Sometimes it goes off at 900rpm sometimes it goes off at around 1500 rpm. Not every time it's idling does this happen, very intermittent. I was thinking alternator or...

Allen Hill? He's a great guy, one of my best friends took his spot in the shop when he retired. I also know a lot of guys that elk hunt with him, he has quite an elk camp from what I hear.

This is a stupid question I know, but when looking to see if it's studded do I have to pull the valve cover? Or is there something I'm missing here. You make it sound like I can just pop the hood and look. If I can just pop the hood and look can you point me in a little better direction, to...

What oil and coolant you guys run in the 6.0?

I was planning on running Schaeffer's 9000 5W-40 in my 04 6.0. Can anyone tell me what's so bad about Schaeffers? Everyone I've ever talked to had nothing but good things to say about it, until I joined this forum and all I read is negatives. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
