    well i looked just a little bit ago. On my truck you dont have to hold the button down. You just push it and it will come up on the screen and say advance trac off. Holding it down for 5 or 10 seconds does nothing.

    I have tried holding the button down with no sucess. Do you have to be in park or stopped? It almost feels like it applies the front brakes when its engaging the anti trac.

    i did have the traction control button pushed. But like stated once it sarts to go sideways it starts to correct itself anyways. So a spe dif lock kit will fix that?. Cuz when i kick it down and it lights them up and starts going sideways it limits power and takes all the fun away.

    I just wish someone would do something about the traction control system. I hate it. I pulled out of parking lot yesterday and kicked it and it smoked the tires and went sideways then the traction control kicked in:fustrate:

    I take it your from new england? that will have a affect on prices also. Maybe also try to stay away from the 2011s if possible. It seems some of them have bad valves that are breaking and gernading motors.

    Dang another cracked valve motor.... I think its about time for ford to step up and recall these. but you know they wont. But it really is starting to get me worried.

    Iam not that parnoid. i just thought if it could be done fairly easily.... but its no big deal, like i said theres no signs of a problem, it was just a thought.
