    oil bypass valve is like Tarm mentioned. Spring, plate, washer and clip. Moves freely pops back when pushed. The oil regulator is quiet stiff. I can push it down on the spring but its very notchy it can stick but seems to sitting in the up position. How do you get the sucker out

    whats the procedure for the air test On a side note cause Im trying to learn here. But if the gauge at the filter is only 4psi and the hpop aint filling wouldnt I be able to here something if it was and external leak of that size.

    well its not the tube. Checked out OK. I have checked the ball, spring. (cap on top - then spring - then ball) I will have a closer look at the filter housing. The oil filter bypass you marked pushes up and then springs back. I had my oil cooler off but I didnt mess with it

    I have taken out both the feed and return line from the walbro pump to the engine. I was going to use the return hose from the strictly diesels kit which is 3/8 ( I assume). and plug it into the 5/16 hard line back to the tank. I had cut that line just in front of the pump for my previous RR...

    Im running 3/8 line from tank to engine. Fuel bowl delete and RR. Will there be an issue connecting the 3/8 return back to the 5/16 return line.

    You checked the plenums ?? If so the up pipes. might be time to make ya self a boost leak detector. Put some pressure in the system and check again.

    I would be looking around you Y pipe. Since messing with it made a difference. Boots, clamps, plenum. Spray some soapy water around those parts and look for bubbles.

    Check ya valve guides. My engine cracked the pedestal exactly the same as yours. Valve guides were shot.

    Just dont by crap from China. The blade at the end of the flywheel wrench were it bites into the teeth was bending from the force, thus letting go of its hold.
