Head gaskets ?
Does he know there are two EGR coolers? My truck (original owner, Job 2, '09) lost the horizontal cooler years ago. Around 40-60k I guess. No internal coolant showed on the oil samples. Only way I noticed it was leaking out of my EGR blockoff plates! -

Favorite 6.4 Pouring oil...HELP Please
With that much oil all over, I would consider flushing your IC out and installing new IC boots in the event your charge side is saturated too. -

Here is a picture of mine once I chopped it in half, it really does not flow well. Granted I do not run a race tune or anything, I noticed it took longer for EGTs to climb and it allowed the turbos to sing. It is double walled from the factory for heat retention to help with the under cab...- f350guy

Cold air intakes?
It will work decent IF you install a larger filter...but that is another $70-100 into it (I have an S&B filter on mine come to think of it). Well, at least for me with the AFE 54-11262. Lower EGTs
SCT or MCC device? On SCT the 'Hot Street' puts me into temps like that also. On 'Street' I pretty much peak at 1250°F Anyone seen decent drops with 6.0/BD manifolds?- f350guy

Good to know! Perhaps I will look at a better intercooler and BD manifolds to drop EGTs, until then I will just keep dorking around on the street tune. Not really interested in the out of control spiral that always seems to occur with studs. :)- f350guy

What sort of EGT drops are you guys seeing with just the atmosphere upgrade? My street tune peaks around 1250°F which I like, but the hot street tune hits about 1550°F which worries me about the thermal shock of the stock pistons. Coolant Filter and CCV mod
My coolant and trans filter kits are from Diesel Site. I am sure if you just lengthened the coolant hose, you could put it wherever you felt. BTW, where are you guys finding 1" heater hose?- f350guy
