Intercooler boots

Thanks for the replies. I think thats what I'll do and just put a filer in and change it a few times. Would brake clean work well to clean it out? Also what kinda of filter? Would just an oil filter on a filter block work?- PA Stroker

I'm buying a bts off a member and im wonder whats the best way to clean out my trans coolers. The trans i have in there now is smoked and i know the coolers are filled with crap. i dont want to just scrap them because i have a 6.0 cooler already and there kinda of expensive to buy a new one...- PA Stroker

Looking at a 2004 6.0
As the title says im looking at a 2004 6.0. Its and XLT CCLB all opitions besides leather. The body has some dents and dings on it but not rust. Horrible miss need help!!!
sounds almost excatly like what mine is doing but my miss has gotten worse. i havent been able to try anything else on mine. its in the shop getting another new transmission.:fustrate: but if i find anything out with my when i get it back ill be sure to post it up- PA Stroker

Running bigger tires.
I have 35x12.50x18 on my leveled 350srw ill post some pics when it get home. I have some rubbing on the leads at full lock but only if i hit a bounce. Other than that i have noticed any difference with them besides a little better ride,i only run like 40psi or air in them. Actually my avatar...- PA Stroker

well i still havent figured out the miss but i have bigger problems no i blew the tranny last night. i lost all gears and reverse. the thing is when its cold it'll move but once it gets some heat it looses everything. then if i shut it off for a few minutes i get gears back for a brief time then...- PA Stroker

PA Stroker, If its smoking even at idle without any issues from the injectors or wiring its sounding more like tuning. Have you scanned the HPOP ICP and IPR% with rpms? If you can do it. If you have what were the numbers? The 200% can take a little tweaking to get just right for smoke etc...- PA Stroker

yea it was fresh motor when i put them in. but i have to check it out. im thinkin maybe i pinched on o-ring or something when i put them in? i think there all fully seated i put them in on the engine stand so i was really able to push on them.- PA Stroker
