Leaking oil cooler, need to pull motor?
Oh, and a little tidbit I learned to do on the second one I did. There are some notches that line up how the ends go on, but there is a little bit of give either way. Somehow mark exactly how they are so the install will go a little smoother. -

I did two of them this winter. On a superduty, you don't need to lift the motor up. It wasn't too bad of a job just messy. Sounds like the shop is trying to screw him over... -

Coolant in fuel
Off topic but I'm not sure about where you are from but here dyed fuel is the exact same as road fuel minus the dye. -
opinions on gearhead and the PHP hydra
I had a DP F5 on my old truck, and my new one has gearhead tunes on it. I love the gearhead tunes. I've been thinking about going with the hydra, when I upgrade injectors. Interested to see what people have to say about them.- dthompson

Hey, Chris what I usually do on our engines to put them on is either get a longer bolt or stud that screws in the crank then use a nut and large washer to run the balancer on. Basically not using the threads in the crank to pull it on. If you can get the old bolt out might be able to get a new...- dthompson

They are a reusable gasket, but like you said the PITA the job is I would go ahead and get new ones. -
Reroute CCV to exhaust...
I'm not sure why you couldn't. This is common practice on race gas engines. I'm sure someone will chime in but I don't see what the difference would be.- dthompson
