First impressions of a non vgt on my '11 6.7

:stupid: What D-Money said. We have already proven non VGT can handle way more than 99% of what people would throw at it towing wise.... at altitudes an even smaller percentage will ever see, so has HSM. Tuning, driving ability(knowing what rpm the truck should be at and such) and tuning play...

    2011 6.7 s366 needs to know

What Mike said.... You will need a full kit to make the turbo work. The stock turbo is not a T3 flange, so no "adapter plate" will make it work, nor will it just fall into place. If that were the case, no one would have spent months developing complete turbo kits. You need base pedestal, up...

    Knock Knock, Fuk Me

Looks similar to the engines we tore up this past race season. Was there any other damage? torn up cylinder walls, piston skirts or anything like that? or was it just a bearing failure? I know there is about an 800 hp difference between the trucks, but we were running into both heat issues and...

    Mpd 6.4 s467.7 single kit

Doesn't help that the 467 supercores were on backorder for whatever reason. The new one should be to you this week. I have had 4 different iterations of our S400 kit on my truck, the only issue i ran into was a leaky fitting (first design which was quickly changed) and a blowed out bearing on my...

    Compound 6.7's

Here are a couple of the setups we have done recently. First one was on our UCC truck. Forced Inductions 476/96 and a FI GT55(98mm) atmo. Dual 12MM Cp3's, gutted CP4, 4 wastegates, all that fun stuff. Had some fueling issues but it made 16xx at altitude. Second setup is a FI 476/96 and an FI...

    Power step question

We have had nothing but issues with ours. Luckily no other issues with the truck, but the steps have a mind of their own. Most of the time they open fine, then only close half way, and randomly either just or close going down the road. or just not work at all. then sometimes they are fine. lmao

    Cold Air Intake

Stage one (4.5") no limit Would work perfectly fine for what you have. Pre-filters are just the "filter sock" that wraps over the filter.

    BUILD - RCD Longblock/Elite Single

if you are dead set on 60's then you should be fine just having the PW pulled back to keep the turbo happy at WOT, but if not, 30's or 45's would suit it better and you can have the PW higher. Just 2 different ways to accomplish the same thing.

    BUILD - RCD Longblock/Elite Single

With that small turbine, I would Imagine a set of 30's or mayyybbee 45's would suit it much better. But I would say, with little experience with that turbo, you should be able to see 800 or so *and maintain long term reliability*. Anything more that that, the little baby turbine will be churning...

My new Warren Transmission is leaking

Why would ANYONE want to do that? Sounds like a terrible thing to do! Call the builder before asking thousands of random people a stupid question? gtfo with that

    Suncoast 6R140 Converter!!!

Yeah, confirmed they are quad disk. and yeah, they are $2350. Not going to try to push any sales until we do some of our own testing. I would be happy to sell you one. But i'm not going to make any assumptions on quality and function until we put power through it.

    Suncoast 6R140 Converter!!!

Welp, finally got one of these things to play around with. Going to throw it in one of the trucks we have here, and see how it holds up! Race truck has a 48.. so that wouldn't exactly work. Good thing we have a few other 1k+ HP 6R equipped rigs to play with ;) Updates will come as soon as we...
