    When I disengage 4wd mine will stay locked sometimes and I don't know why any other opinions on the original topic though? Sometimes when I go into 4wd it won't engage till I move and it will bang hard with that.

    How is synthetic in a diesel though is it worth the change?

    I usually use Rotella oil but I was considering synthetic I know in gas turbos you usually need to run synthetic but diesel is different.....any thoughts?

    Ok I'm sure they've never been serviced before either so I'm sure that wouldn't hurt. I have been thinking about manual lockers but I wasn't sure if the esof bang had anything to do with the hubs since it is vacuum powered and how would I bypass the vacuum without throwing a fault in the 4wd or...

    I really make sure to do it when I come off the interstate after running for a little while and after I've been driving for a long time around town. Any good EGT gauge suggestions and what is the lowest operating temperature of a turbo.

    I can feel the front end skipping on a turn when it doesn't disengage the last time it happened I switched the hubs to lock then automatic manually and that seemed to release them

    What about the front hubs not wanting to disengage when put in 2wd? Is that related or something different?

    I've run into certain problems with the electronic shift on the fly. What would happen shifting into 4 wheel drive I would hear a loud bang when it would engage and sometimes when it gets disengaged the hubs would not release from automatic I'm just wondering what is going on here any help...

    I have always been told with turbo cars and heavy equipment to let the turbo idle before shutdown so you don't coke oil in it. I do this to my truck currently and I was wondering some of the other forums I've read people say it's not necessary because of how something is set up on this engine...
