I think he is taking about Chris brosnan who was at Mpd this weekend. Stock bottom end, Mpd kit with a 472, dual fuelers 60% nozzles. Laid down 794 on his gearhead tune. Not even on his idp race tune- Mattf1987

I don't know what's better? faster spool or a little more up top? Given that this is going to be a street driven truck and not so much of a race truck I may benefit off of the 467's spool characteristics. Yea man I'm curious too. I'm shooting for making right at 800 on this setup, we will see what it does once I have the tuning and some miles on the setup. Yea I checked his site. Heads for this truck seem to be a big issue lol. The firs set of heads on the truck were cracked and had bad valve guides wit bent valves, now the ones we had at the shop that we thought were good ended up having the bad guides. Looks like I may need heads, mine have a few valves guides that are very worn, who's heads do y'all usually use? I had a friend of mine suggest ucf. They sell complete re maned heads o ringed with the harder seats installed for 1950. I think oem ones are 1k brand new.- Mattf1987
