non vgt egt numbers

Just started running a 64/71/.82 non vgt. Wanted to know other peoples egt numbers while cruising and under load. While just cruising mine will get up to 1100 under light load. I really don't like this. So just trying to figure is this the norm or do I need to find a tighter exhaust housing...

need help find diff exhaust housing

Well I'm running a 64/71/.82 rcd non vgt Turbo. They offer a .72 a.r housing for this and think it would do much better for my setup. But I haveny heard back from rcd on how much and there are no markings on the Turbo to try to find it myself. Does anyone know what Turbo they are using and...

best way to clean head mating surface on the the block

OK I have done many head jobs on 6.0 and have been cleaning the block(where the head gaskets mate) with a sharpening stone and wd40. Doug at gogo told me this trick and it does work. Wanted to know some other peoples techniques!?

Scanner maybe giving me wrong oil temp reading???

So I had my scanner on my truck just checking stuff out and when I was checking my oil temp it was 250*. So I figured well the cooler is obviously plugged so I put a new cooler on today(and also changed the stc fitting on the hpop to the newest upgrade) and when I was done I put the scanner back...

NEED OUTPUT SHAFT!!!!

Broke the output shaft on our 04 6.0 w/ a zf6 pull truck last night. Need one stat. If you know of anyone with one for purchace please let me know

the smell of diff fluid....naaassstttyyy

Just changing my differ fluid tonight and every time I do one I wonder.....what the hell do they put in this crap to make it smell so terrible!!! They have to think up something not so da#n stinky!!!
