    2015 vs 2020

Very true and will always be that way when it comes to a big change. But I just would want some years of real world feed back on the HD platform with that 10 speed before I personally bought one. Guess we will see! Plus, I actually think the 17-19 front end looks way better that the 20s. Not a...

    2015 vs 2020

Exactly! There is always problems and still will be going forward. I just think these problems are going to be magnified over the 6R with the new 10 speed.

    2015 vs 2020

Ive ridden and driven multiple 2018+ F150s with the 10 speed, both 3.5 eco and 5.0s. My biggest complaint is the shifting is all over the place and never know what youre going to get. Sometimes you dont even know its shifting and smooth as can be, othertimes it'll slam/clunk a gear either...

    2017 Tuning Change

Yeah I checked with Chaos. The problem is the nGauge is licensed only to one tuner at a time. Emotion is the only one that can transfer licenses from one tuner to another. Once its licensed to that tuner, then the tuner can unlock the tuning device for another truck. The problem is Patriot is no...

    2017 Tuning Change

Yeah, I already had all the files from them up until the latest beta update. Ive been running the latest and greatest for a couple months now. Just need to start something new and try another direction with them closing the doors. Support is a wonderful thing when you pay good money for tuning...

    2017 Tuning Change

Thank you for the input! With nGauge and how different it is that EZlynk, Im just wondering how people with the nGauge like it. It seems like there are a lot of options to choose from on the EZ side, so just curious as to what tunes you get for the nGauge side being that the engine and trans...

    2017 Tuning Change

With the recent news last week that Patriot has closed its doors (or had its doors forced closed), Im stuck in a bad situation with no support with a device I wont be able to sell. I have an nGauge device thats locked only to Patriot and my truck. It apparently can be relicensed to a different...

FORScan Tire Size Adjustment For 37 Inch Tires

UPDATE: Still no CEL or any issues after I changed in the BdyCM module to 726-12-01 xxxx 0AAE xxxx with Forscan. Speedo off 1-2 MPH at 70 MPH. Definitely worth using this code if you dont want CELs and you use Forscan and are running 37s.

You got rid of your 17 Power Stroke man?

    PPEI tuning 2018

Yeah, definitely sucks when these things happen man. PPEI on the 17s has really built a bad reputation with customer service, trans issues and lack of support to actually correct issues. Not to mention, the whole time they were selling all those high power tunes for the longest time and telling...

FORScan Tire Size Adjustment For 37 Inch Tires

Ive got about 400 miles so far of all kinds of driving conditions since I changed the tire size. No CEL at all yet. Think that code worked perfect for me.

    PPEI tuning 2018

I would be looking at other tuning. Plenty of great options out there, but PPEI on 17+ just seems to have a lot of bad reviews. My truck rips running Patriot tuning and definitely dont have to go 3/4 throttle to get it to go.

FORScan Tire Size Adjustment For 37 Inch Tires

Well, I just adjusted my tire size in FORScan last night. Also turned bambi mode on (fog lights stay on when the brights are turned on). Changed in the BdyCM module from 726-12-01 xxxx 0A00 xxxx factory settting to 726-12-01 xxxx 0AAE xxxx. Drove it for 40 miles and no check engine lights. Also...

FORScan Tire Size Adjustment For 37 Inch Tires

No not yet unfortunately. I was supposed to try it all out before I went out of town last weekend, but had too many things to do before I left that I didnt get a chance. I will hopefully give it a try within the next couple days and report back. Have you tried any adjustments yet on yours with...

FORScan Tire Size Adjustment For 37 Inch Tires

Well, I may have found a set of numbers to use in FORScan for the 37s that maybe wont throw a check engine light. I will update this afternoon after I get a chance to throw the numbers in to double check if theres a light and how close it is at 70 mph. Hopefully this will get the job done so I...

FORScan Tire Size Adjustment For 37 Inch Tires

I have a buddy who works at a local Ford dealer who has access to Fords IDS. He said he would hook to it to see what how big of a tire I could put in through their system. However, I was talking with Jared Rice last night about it as well, and he mentioned that IDS can only adjust to 34.6"...

FORScan Tire Size Adjustment For 37 Inch Tires

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought he was saying about the spreadsheet to calculate the new tire size values in FORScan. Didnt know there was a setting for the gear ratio too. If you could when you get the new tires put on, let me know what process they used when they program for the 37s, if the...

FORScan Tire Size Adjustment For 37 Inch Tires

The tires will rub on the lower control arm on both sides, but only at full lock. Other than that, have not had any other rub areas happen. Right, but as Sootie mentioned, there will be a check engine light on when exceeding the factory tire sizes. I really dont want any lights on, so Ill...

FORScan Tire Size Adjustment For 37 Inch Tires

Thanks man! Yeah, I HATE having any lights at all on the dash so I guess thats not the right direction for me to go to use FORScan. Have you installed and used the Hypertech before on a 17? Installation instructions look fairly straight forward by removing the instrument cluster. But how do you...

FORScan Tire Size Adjustment For 37 Inch Tires

I just installed a 2.5" level with 37x12.50R18s and obviously the speedo is way off. Has anyone been able to adjust for a 37 inch tire with FORScan? Ive seen some online calculations for newer F150s to add larger tires like 35s, but wasnt sure if that translates to the 17+ Super Duties. Anyone...
