    160/100 vs 205/30 Injector Testing

I disagree. For the majority of people anyway. You need extensive live tuning sessions to get the egt's under control with the 80% over nozzles and larger when towing, vs just going with a set of 30%. Seen by myself, dozens (hundreds?) of customers, and every tuning pro I have talked to about...

    LPOP specs?

That's a Warren Diesel pump. It seem everything they make is top notch. I wouldn't hesitate going with it for a different application. But for me I am going with a dry sump to eliminate all of this stuff.

    LPOP specs?

Billy, thanks for that info, I found elsewhere the spec of 25 gpm as well.

    LPOP specs?

I still have not gotten any pump info, but those guys have been very willing to answer my questions on pumps and dry sumps and I just wanted to thank them.

    LPOP specs?

It's for my drag car, I'm building a dry sump system and I need to know the stock output so that I can size a pump properly. I'd like to thank Corey Hurtt at CNC Fab, Brian Gray at Gray's Diesel Perf., and Matt Kubik at Cutting Edge Diesel for some very valuable help with this.

Who has had 180/30 or 180/80 for towing

180/30% for sure. They are awesome with the 38R. You'll hate towing with a bigger nozzle.

    LPOP specs?

I have no issue with Dieselsite holding that info. I bet they know, just protecting their work. I don't go by "trust me it's more", the proof is in the product. It really is a nice upgrade.

    Improper tuning???

Pull the chip completely and see how it runs. Not a STOCK tune, but remove it. Might have a rough idle but stock tuning does pretty well overall to run larger injectors. After pulling the chip if it has a rough idle, unplug the ICP and see what all changes. Won't cost anything but a few minutes...

1995 injector ohm reading / diy rebuild stage 1

You said it, when they weren't 10 - 12 years older and were 10 - 12 years less worn out than they are now. We work on a lot of failed DIY injector projects. Cuz you aren't actually "rebuilding" them for $570. You don't have a flow bench to see how far off they are (even if they have all...

    LPOP specs?

I tried, they very politely said it wasn't available.

    LPOP specs?

Thanks, but I need flow not psi rating.

    LPOP specs?

Can anyone tell me what the output is of the stock low pressure oil pump? Like gpm at given rpm? I've been searching for days and got nothing.

    Aftermarket radiator?

Ok, thanks, gotta give one a try I guess.

    Aftermarket radiator?

Anyone have experience with aftermarket 6.0 radiators? Seems ALL of them are 1/2 the thickness of oem. Doesn't seem right but I can't find a full thickness radiator for a decent price. Any thoughts? Do they work just as good?

I have one headed to me. If it doesn't look good, I'll let you know. Thanks.

    Best heat/uppipe wrap?

Titanium sounds familiar. I am surprised these just didn't last at all, but I guess they can only take so much (when the headers glow orange.) I am sure there are other competition guys out there running some high EGT's too, I can't be the only one burning these things up.

    Best heat/uppipe wrap?

What are you guys using with success? I used DEI stuff and after 1 season it all turned to dust.

    WTB: Late '95 front cover

Hey guys, I'm looking for a good '95.5 front cover. It's the only model cover with a full width rubber gasket under the reservoir and has the pick-up tube mounted on the driver's side (about 7:00 when looking from the crankshaft side.) Must have good oil pump surface. Let me know what you got...

LPOP exploded, anyone see this happen before?

Funny thing, I started racing this car with a 100k mile bone stock engine (but for head studs and 910 springs) that saw many, many more passes than this engine with the new, latest and greatest pump, and that LPOP never failed. That engine saw 4200 rpm each pass, but without a recall tach or...

LPOP exploded, anyone see this happen before?

There won't be a next time, I'm working on a dry sump system so there won't be any oem style oil pump to come apart again. It oiled everything. You can see oil spray on the body from the tires throwing it off. But the car stopped fine luckily. Yes, tearing engine down for inspection, whenever...
