Buzz test & Cylinder Compensation rest.

You won’t know for sure unless you pull the gasket and UVCH and ohm them for resistance. I don’t know the numbers off the top of my head but they’re an easy google search away. If everything ohms okay you’ll want so swap the injector with another and see if the error code follows the injector.

    Rear window conversion

Should be able to...mine didn't seal the first time b/c we left the plastic spacers on it. I had it cut out, we cut the plastic spacer things off, and glued it back in again. No leaks! Cost me $100 to have the guy cut it out and redo it (it was a different guy than originally installed it...

    Rear window conversion

We eyeballed it and taped it in place to dry. The more hands you have available the easier it is.

    Rear window conversion

I did and I have no leaks. There are 4 standoffs that are on the glass that we had to cut off and just float it in the right spot with 2 of us. Barnbuilder is right, if you want to completely hide the pinch weld inside it would require changing the rear plastics and headliner. I don't notice...

    99-07 F250 F350 Morimoto D2S Projector Conversion/Upgrade

I'm torn between attempting something like this or just buying new OEM 2007 lights. So torn. I'll finally be converting my '02 this summer when I finally paint the thing. Really great write up and makes it that much harder for me to decide what to do!

    Leaf spring question

6084 lbs is from the tire limit. 2002 came with LRE tires that were 3042 lbs each. Newer Es in the same size often have a higher limit than that. Here's a quick pic of my 2002 spring. My truck is lowered and we took the overload off but I just ran out to the garage and snapped it quick. Does...

25% discount on ford parts to members

I'd like to put 2005-2007 headlights in my truck. Already have the header panel and misc parts but want new headlights. I believe the part numbers are 6C3Z13008AB (right) and 6C3Z13008BB (left). Shipping would be to 75078. Double check the part numbers for me please, want the chrome...

    Autometer Z-series Pyrometer NIB - $150

Got this back as a warranty replacement but I already replaced it with a new one. This one needs a new home. New in box, never used Autometer Z-series Pyrometer #2654.

    Calipers getting loose

I've never heard of having to replace brackets or bolts on the front. You have to pull the bracket in order to change the rotor. I think the torque on them is pretty high. Like 140 lb-ft on the front and 120 on the rear? Something like that, I'd have to look it up. I've never used loctite...

    Calipers getting loose

The caliper bracket to spindle bolts or the caliper to caliper bracket bolts? I've had my calipers and brackets off numerous times and never seen this happen. The slide pins need to have the correct orientation in order to seat in the pocket of the caliper correctly to provide the proper...

305/50r20 XL Load Rating VS E Rating

I just went out and measured mine for ****s and giggles. 6'2" to the peak at the center of the roof! I can drive into my 7' garage before the door is fully up and not even twang the antenna LOL

305/50r20 XL Load Rating VS E Rating

But they wouldn't have tucked completely under the fender. With how low it is and how soft the front suspension is after 250k miles it had to tuck under the fender or else I'd have tire/fender contact just driving down the road. That fender liner I'm hitting is 1.5" above the fender lip...

305/50r20 XL Load Rating VS E Rating

I know you quoted the other guy's picture, but your avatar makes me think you've got an older truck like mine. One thing I'll say is that in the 22" rim sizes I couldn't find one I liked with an offset that would work. Do you plan on dropping your truck? Mine is dropped 3/4 with DJM's kit...

305/50r20 XL Load Rating VS E Rating

Thanks! My truck is a slow moving project, but getting closer every day to having it mostly done! That's basically how I feel about it. The only trailer I own is a 21' Crownline boat that comes in about 5500 gross or so if I had to guess. The only other things I put on it is an open car...

305/50r20 XL Load Rating VS E Rating

I'll add the difference in sidewall flex is really apparent when doing stuff like coming up the drive over curbs leading into my driveway. You can really see the sidewalls load up where the Es just used to roll over and not flex at all.

305/50r20 XL Load Rating VS E Rating

I recently switched to 305/50R20 XL tires (Toyo Proxes STII). I can definitely tell the sidewalls are not as stiff as the 265/75R16 Michelin LTX E tires I took off. I haven't towed anything yet, so I can only provide real feedback on running around empty. So far I'm holding onto my E wheels...
