At 700 ft elevation my 150s barely haze and I’m on some old ********** tunes with no glow plugs. Have never really had a problem so I’d for sure hope tuning could help you. Or have your injectors checked out.

On mine I simply shortened the cooling jets. Still have the correct spray angle and has been living well at decent power levels.

No 4x4 diesel will be competitive in promod. Idk if it’s possible to handle the power at two axles and be under the 3600lb limit for a cage so you can run fast enough.

So you’re reasoning why your transmission will be fine is bc it doesn’t mess up in those gears yet. With that reasoning that means your driveshaft won’t fail bc it’s fine now too. You see the flaw in that?
