Yes 17' turbo on the 13'. Swap was done by Powerstroke Enginuities in Houston. I went with a Factory 2015+ HPFP since I'm not running bigger injectors.

:whs: This guy recently hooked me up with exactly what he is describing. Truck tows great (20 rolls of hay, 32' cattle trailer, etc.), never have to worry about egt's and will flat get it empty. And I leave the tuner on the 3rd tyrant setting when towing.

I'm a big fan of this upgrade. My truck runs awesome and smokeless. I don't notice the slower spool-up but I can definitely feel the extra power. Truck tows like a dream.

I just installed a 17 turbo and HPFP on my 13'. Truck runs amazing and smokeless. Even sounds quite a bit different than it did with the 13 turbo. I'm also running tyrant tunes.

The 4r100 is no comparison to the 6psd trans when it comes to towing IMO. I still have a 450ish hp 7.3 and the 6.7 will run away from it with a load. The tighter gears makes all the difference. I love my 13 but as said before, get a 15+ if you can swing it. The exhaust brake in the 15+ is a...
