    Up till now I've got all my orings set to .006 protrusion. I've seen guys go .008 and even more on aluminum heads. What is safe and at what point is the coolant passage seal an issue? Working on some higher hp stuff so be interested In trying more protrusion.

    im finally taking my block in to be machined, and the machinist needs to know what the piston to wall clearance should be. Apparently the piston manufacturer should have included the specs but they didn't. the manufacturer is mahle. what is the best clearance for the 6.0 with .020 over pistons?
