I guess I should revisit the site. I thought they had 2 machines, same mine, that they rebuilt the engines at the same time. Only difference was the pistons and any variable like how close they held tolerance, but essentially the same. I thought after something like 12k? hours run time...- BrewTown

I still wish I could have found the issue also. That was probably 8 years ago and I still think about it 🤣 I'm not sure how it being tunes holds you back though. I agree. Customer gets to choose. If they want to leave it unplugged, I'd suggest doing something so in the future someone doesn't see it, plug it in and create the issues. It's running off an inferred EBP table. I can't tell you how to fix it, but I'm going to say something with that circuit is shorted, broken wire, ect... I traced mine back to something under the dash, at least that's where I was at. Never did actually fix it so I don't have an ending to my story...- BrewTown

I'll have to look for that 6.7 vid. Did SOA put it out? Or was it someone else? That 6.3 is always an engine I had question about. What does it do with the EBP unplugged? I had an issue with an '06 Auto, traced it all the way to the resistance? I think at the EBP plug would change depending on if the dome light was on or not. I never did find the short, he just ran with it unplugged. Landscaper truck.- BrewTown

I don't think you can really say $3k for dimples. It's not really the dimples that drive the cost, it's all the engineering and testing behind the size, pattern, placement, etc... of said dimples. Look to the medical industry, they have so many years to charge more to recoup the development...- BrewTown

Way to dangle the carrot. Now we have questions... And the injection system holds back rpm and HP right? It can make good power until PW is limited by RPM. I believe the 7.3 is basically the same on air flow as a stock 12v. Numbers I find are 140-150 cfm @28" for a 12v, and 110-115 cfm @28" for a 7.3. So average 12v over 2 revs hitting all 6 cylinders means 840-900 cfm, and 7.3 over 8 cylinders moves 880-920. I don't know about swirl, and I know...- BrewTown

Seeing that the "pump" camshaft spins at half crank speed, and Charles mentioned 50° of advance (although that seems entirely too much?) that translates into 25° BTDC of crankshaft for camshaft for lobe start. When creating the pump housing, would it utilize tappets, pushrods and rockers? Roller followers like MOD motors? My thought being rocker ratio could be adjusted to create the necessary plunger travel for the application, and may help utilize existing cam lobe geometry. That's beyond me though...- BrewTown
