My truck is slow to start. The fuel rail pressure is low at first while cranking then the pressure builds up in 3-4 second into the crank then starts. Any ideas of what it could be. ??? I've had electrical issues with the alternator over charging( 16V )replaced that today.

I ran diagnostic and I received the code U0101 TCM not communicating. If the TCM malfunctions will that cause the truck not to start??Or is it something else ?? Going to check the power to the TCM also the shift light is not working
