After half an hour of driving it home it cleaned itself up and drove fine. Turbo was replaced in the fall so not a year on it. I do not know if he lets it sit and idle much one thing i do know is he doesnt get on it hard and make the vanes open and close to keep things moving.

A friend is on the way home just got a code P0234 overbooost. Anyone have ideas as to what is going on to cause this code? Truck isnt shifting right and is running 214 degree's engine oil temp is 215. He let is cool down and it went back up to high temps in a few minutes.

Yeah the truck ran without any issues im thinking sensor on the way out but will look at the harness first.

I thru a code P2287 injector control pressure (ICP) sensor is intermittent. What do you think sensor or regulator on its way out?

What im thinking is from 800 ml to 1000 ml is a good range to work with. As for rust if everything is good and your not shutting the truck down right after spraying all should be good. Water pump rust inhibitor is always an option as some guys on this forum have suggested.

Truck has H&S air intake, wicked wheel 2, banks technicooler, egr ******, thumper HPOP with HPODS, GOGO intake, 6.4 banjo's, blue spring, regulated return, Hercules ficm tune, PHP ecm tuning, ******** tunes and soon Meth. About all the manual says is if you see white smoke reduce nozzle size...

Looking for Nozzle size options for the snow stage 3. Kit comes stock with a #3 (175ml) nozzle a #5 (375 ml) nozzle and a #6 (625 ml) nozzle. What are you guys running? :shocked:

Over the past 2 months i have seen 3 cracked injector nozzles. 2 on a 6.0 and 1 on a 7.3. What are the causes of cracked nozzles?

Royal Purple 5w30, I run my oil for 10000 miles. I had an oil analysis done by blackstone labs after my last oil change everything checked out very good, they said i could actually run my oil to 12000 miles before my next change. The one thing they did say is when sending in a sample with revx...

HP oil system was just tested last week all is good. This was actually thought to be the original problem.

It passed the buzz test. Has a bullet proof diesel external oil cooler and filters. Truck idles cold just perfect and runs perfect. Once warm the idle turn into more of a lope and lots of smoke. Probably try a different ficm. See if the new one is NFG.

Its always injector number 1 Ficm has been swapped out, ICP is good, Harness looks good but that doesn't mean it is. No buzz test yet but its on the to do list.

2005 6.0 Truck has had 4 injectors replaced (injector number 1) 2 by Ford 1 by another mechanic shop and 1 by owner. First 3 injectors run for roughly 3000 Kilometers then started throwing a contribution code. 4th injector is still in but is also throwing a contribution code. Truck starts good...
