    Yes, it sounds like the current owner has addressed and tried to prevent future issues...the problem with 6.4's is the bottom end of the motor...of you drive it in a "stock" or close to it tune, and with some common sense, problems should be minimal...but as sootie said, when something goes it...

    That leece alt looks like the same one ih and ford put on the cf500's and lcf's...which had the v6 version of the 6.0 in them. I got mine off an lcf and it works great.

    what about the wear sleeve/ring on the crank damper...have you installed a new one with the pump? Im assuming when ya put the new pump in it had a new housing and front seal with it...but a lot of the times the wear sleeve has to be purchased separately and I always get em from...

    You wanna look for metal in the system which will be difficult now that the injector lines are off...you could look in the supply ports on top of the pump with a flashlight and if you see a lot of "glitter" that's metal...which means the pump is goin bad
