Well, it got me yesterday… truck had some sort of a rebuilt / replaced trans in it when I bought it a year ago. Yesterday morning, going slow, as I went to speed up leaving town I heard a loud bang and felt the truck lurch, then just revved. No forward or reverse at all. No abnormal noises...

You’re exactly right, they’re better quality, better built, and cheaper than ranch hand. I know quite a few guys around here that run them exclusively.

I ran proven on my 2014 and again on my current 2015. Zero issues with the trans in either. Shifting is spot on. Much much much better than the unknown tunes my ‘15 came with. Trans now performs exactly like my 2014 did. Maybe I’m just used to shit trans tuning??? [emoji23] doubt it, but if...

So I’m did get a wheel bought a few weeks ago, but haven’t had time to get it installed yet. Any thoughts to swapping it with turbo still installed? Can easily pull compressor housing and get to the wheel. It’s holding the turbine side still that would be tough. Thoughts?

Typically I would agree with you 100%. However I won’t own the truck long enough to save the money for a full replacement. Not because I wouldn’t like to keep it, but rather I may need sell it in the future. So if I’m pulling the turbo to put a wheel on it, stock or not, which one is the better...

Not sure. It was like that when I pulled the factory intake off to put the piping kit on. There was dirty grim built up at the turbo inlet, so lord knows what the previous owner did.

It’s more responsive. Couldn’t really say how much, but it feels like it. I still need to address the turbo and get it retuned. But I’ve been pleased thus far. Looks 10000% better under the hood too.
