Help with park brake cable removal

Ok my buddy that works at a tire shop came over to torque my wheels and he showed me that there's a quick disconnect past the rear drivers door, right before the rear wheel. You pull forward and unhook the hooks and the cable is loose. Thanks to everyone for the posts!

Help with park brake cable removal

Oh nice!! Yeah I was born here and live in Farmersville. Yeah I'm just trying to move the cable away from the frame so I can strip it with the wire brush and hit it with paint.

Help with park brake cable removal

I noticed that but I don't know if there will be enough slack to remove it. It's kind of tight already with the brake disengaged. I'll hit it up with WD-40 and see if my cousin can help me. Thanks sir!

Help with park brake cable removal

Hey guys. I have a 2004 f250 crew cab 6.0 and I'm gonna be stripping the frame because of rust from CO winters. I have the passenger side done but the drivers side has the park brake cable in the way and I don't want to weaken it if the wire brush on my sander touches it. Any help on how to...

    2004 White F250 with 08 rear

Yes sir. 100% perfect fit. The bumper came with the mounts and when we took off the old bumper the mounts and bolts were the same. Same goes for the license plate lights. They fit perfectly. Only thing is the trailer tail light plug mount had to come off. Idk if there's one for the new bumpers...

    2004 White F250 with 08 rear

Thank you sir. Yeah I've been looking online for that piece as well cuz one of the tabs is broken on the right side so the plastic pops up a little. Best was $45 plus $15 for shipping. Can't complain though. I got the tailgate for $300 off Craigslist. And the guy drove like 300 miles to meet me...

    2004 White F250 with 08 rear

Thanks man. It's called the Rapid Hitch and it's heavy as hell lol. The old hitch was starting to peel and looked like crap so I got this one. It cost me $275 for the hitch, a set of locking pins and tax. Probably could've got it cheaper online but I didn't want to wait lol.
