Ok thanks!!! I think i might have it fixed. but now my ps and brakes are not working. Worked fine before this happened. Had to pull off the road without ps when the fuse blew. Do you think it has air or something in it now?

2003 F250 7.3---Forgot to plug the truck in this morning. Hit the remote start and it tried about 5-6 times to start before it ever did. Let warm up and took off down the road and made it about 1/4 miles and the truck just died like you turned the key off. Tracked down to a blown ignition...

Wish I would have known about this a few months ago before I bought your 6 position chip!! :cursing: Very please with the six but more options would have been cool!!! :doh:

At what outside temp do you start plugging your truck in for the winter?

Its like flipping a switch when it gets better. I have already done a buzz test and a cylinder contrubution test and everything come back perfect. Thanks for all the help going to check the exhaust sensor and tube tomorrow. Thats a free check!!! LOL

This problem is NOT normal!!! This makes my second 7.3 and I have never had this problem!! Its only done it twice since Saturday morning. Its hard to fix something if it wont keep messing up. I will just clean the ebpv and drive it till it happens again.

Good read!!! But I dont think thats my problem. It feels like ist only firing on half is cylinders and clears up in a matter of a few miles.
