135K on the clock. With a load and upon a hard acceleration, truck will go into limp mode and then shut off. Starts back up just fine. No hard codes or CEL. I'm wondering if it could be a bad shift solenoid.

The truck has had the H&S tune since new in 2012. 126K on the clock. 95% of the mileage is towing a 177K pound trailer.

I was running some errands around town. I put the hammer down and felt a major CLUNK in the tranny. Engine felt like it went into limp mode for a couple seconds...maybe, and then stalled out. Pulled to the side of the road and performed a key off, key on and the truck started right up and...

That's what I figured. Back in the day when I was still wrenchin', every rebuild on a big truck would see a dyno test. We always brought that engine to its knees. No break-in required.

Is there any difference between the break-in point of this engine and the earlier 6.7s?

Would I lose any power assist if the electrical connections are pulled off the abs module/unit?

Are there any "go to" web sites for the selection of quality wheels?

Thanks everyone for responding. Even though we made an appointment to see the truck tomorrow morning, someone came along and made a full price offer of $14.5K. Oh well. As I told my son, there are plenty of other trucks to consider.

Is the KBB range of values on target?
