I recently purchased an 01 f250 that has 116K on the clock. It had a leaky water pump and a leaky TC. I changed out the water pump to a t444e with ELC. Past weekend I started pulling the transmission to address the leaking TC. I am going to replace the TC and pump seal and check the pump bushing. Looked all over the Internet and all I can find is heated arguments on which ATF to use. I don't really want to put a $1,000,000 oil in it. It is a factory warranty reman tranny that shifts good and oil looks good and I'm putting a middle of the road TC in it. Would appreciate input I'm new to this.
