05 ring and pinion

I found the but on my pinion loose the other night, so I put loc-tite on it and tightened it back up. Now I have a slight whine.

Not sure how long it was loose, so thinking about having it pulled apart to replace the crush sleeve.

What would you guys do?

Thinking about a truetrac and possibly a new gear set depending on what it turns out to look like.

Assuming it's a srw with a 10.5 you likely crushed the sleeve more increasing pinion preload. Or the bearing were already shot from being loose.

I'm thinking something along those lines. What would the chances be that the gears are messed up?

And yes its a srw. I couldn't remember if it had a 10.25 or 10.5?
